ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I approached this piece with a feeling of moving forward in life. When struggling with a challenge or disability you often feel overwhelmed or defeated. Opportunities and doors always seem closed. The stairs represent our fears and apprehension. When you believe in yourself and learn to trust you will move forward. Doors open and life will begin.
